So many Airforce things keep cropping up recently. The “Back for Good” form, pay issues, job scope, training and all that. Being the typical geek, outdoor gardens are probably the last place I would choose to visit. However, that’s the wonderful thing about having a significant other—you embrace new challenges. I had never set foot in the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music before, even at its previous location, which was quite close to the Engineering faculty. I didn’t have much to do today, so I had the task of returning my library books and decided to go for a city stroll in the Esplanade area. I also got my guitar strings at Davis; yes, I actually play the guitar. It was one of the few achievements from my JC days—learning to play a number of simple basic chords on the guitar. I never really moved beyond that, though, and I don’t even dare to call myself an amateur. …

I have been hearing quite a bit about this place, Villa Bali, from friends and blogs, so I finally went to see what it’s all about. The location is really quite out of the way, opposite Alexandra Retail Centre, and not a place that one can just happen upon. The place has a nice feel to it with very rustic architecture, impressing visitors with its transformation from the city-esque lifestyle we are so used to. To enter, we had to cross an old bridge of sorts, which was symbolic of a portal or gateway and fit the image it tries...…

25th January 2007 - Our First One month Anniversary! Amidst preparation for FYP and recovering from a mild hangover, I can’t missed out on celebrating our one month anniversary or 1st Monthsary.
