How apt, a day for Sociology and a day to talk about my exam culture with it’s own special rituals and routines to get myself in the proper frame of mind for exams. I guess, in a way, it calms me down to know that a routine helps establish a certain form of consistency. Hmm.. haha, just couldn’t find the drive to go school today. First, I got ready for school, bathe, change, checked iris even and still a bit tentative of going. At the door, was still holding back somewhat and finally sms-ed to check whether my friends were there and yup, they were, so off I go. Second, at the bus stop, haha, can’t stop thinking about how productive and how much time I will waste in school. About the lack of food, and about THE food. No motivation at all today! Wee. Having settled my passport in the morning, was about to head to school to study and for lunch but heard that lib was already overflowing at this early hours and that might not seem to be such a great idea after all. While considering my next options, remembered about the bak chor mee that Andy had introduced last time and started craving for it. Now, this is actually quite unlike me but guess being both hungry and thirsty, the long journey without a direct bus was far less appetizing. …

Oh just decided to blog about my phone today. Hmm, wow, life has been good eh, play with phone, go out, hmm, I wonder where that leaves studying. One of the cool software available on the current Nokia series platform would be Smart2Go, a mapping software released by Nokia. It has maps of many countries in the world, including Singapore. Alright, from what I see so far, the navigation is easily done by search and it works well and fast, since the maps are stored on the memory card. …

Well, reaching almost the end of school and all the major headaches of FYP and projects are over and what’s left is 3 exams + 1 project. Life can give you lemons at times. boy (or girl), what do you want to be when you grow up? Isn’t that a typical question? I can’t remember my answer to that question, to some extents I guess work always appeared very much a burden to me. There were only that few jobs or supposedly big words a kid is expected to know.. let’s see, the usual list probably goes like this, “engineer, doctor, lawyer, architect, teacher and the ubiquitous fireman and policeman”.
