The last month has been eventful to say the least. After coming back from USA, hardly had time to rest before I was running to and fro again, and the very same day back, had an accident when I dozed off on the roads. First day in Utah and it was a long one. I woke up early in the morning and took a stroll round the base. Amazed at the facilities they have inside, from a cinema, to fast food, to petrol station, 24 hr minimart and more.. It was pretty cold in the morning and my jacket finally came in handy but still regret bringing it along, as it only takes up precious luggage space! Ok, have slept through the first night in Utah, doesn’t seem to be suffering from jet lag which is a good thing. The long flight here was indeed a pain, with quite a bit of wait in between, shall need either reading material or some entertainment on the way back home a few days later. Utah’s a nice place, and the place I’m in is definitely self sufficient, with lots of shops round the corner. Staying in the base itself has its perks, with food / groceries / shops all available but have not really explored yet. The room itself...…
Off to America, currently at the airport, waiting for my colleague so that we can check in. Have been so busy recently that everything is just rush rush and the quality of my work is indeed suspect..
